Terms and conditions

These terms are an agreement between you and Eqaim Technology and Services Private Limited ("Eqaim", "we", "us"), a company incorporated in India that owns and operates reneGIS at https://renegis.org (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the free tools you agree to them.

1. The Service

Eqaim Technology and Services Private Limited, through reneGIS, provides geospatial analysis for renewable-energy projects: free coordinate tools, and a paid Windmill Micrositing service that audits the coordinates you upload for spacing, wind-wake and solar-boundary conflicts against other coordinates you upload. Results are screening aids computed from the data you provide. They are not a survey, engineering certification or legal opinion, and you remain responsible for verifying them before relying on them.

2. Accounts and organisations

Sign-in is by one-time code to your email address. People with the same company email domain join the same organisation and share its credit balance. Organisation admins can invite, promote and deactivate members. You are responsible for who has access to mailboxes on your domain.

3. Credits and payment

Paid features consume credits as set out on the pricing page. Credits are prepaid, non-transferable, expire as stated at purchase and are not redeemable for money. Prices are in Indian rupees and exclude GST, which is added at checkout. All payments are made to Eqaim Technology and Services Private Limited and processed by Razorpay; we do not store card numbers. Refunds are governed by the refund and cancellation policy. We may change prices and free allowances with notice on the pricing page; changes do not affect credits already bought.

4. Your data

You keep all rights to the coordinates and other data you upload. We use them only to provide the Service to your organisation, store them so you can revisit past runs, and never share them with other customers. How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy. You confirm that you are entitled to upload the data you submit, including coordinates of other parties' assets.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to attempt to access other organisations' data, circumvent credit accounting, resell the Service, scrape it, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.

6. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change or retire features; material changes to paid features will be announced in the app or by email.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including decisions made on the basis of analysis results.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at the seat of our registered office have exclusive jurisdiction.
